Vistry Group secures reserved matters approval from South Cambridgeshire Council for 233 new mixed-tenure homes at Cambourne

Vistry Group, the UK’s leading provider of mixed-tenure housing, has secured reserved matters planning approval for Phase 3.2b of its Cambourne development, marking a significant step forward in delivering high-quality homes and community infrastructure.

The approved Phase 3.2b includes 37 affordable homes, comprising 19 for affordable rent and 18 for shared ownership. The remaining 85 homes will be available for private sale, contributing to the mix of homes required to meet the needs of a growing and vibrant community.

In addition to this milestone, reserved matters planning approval has also been received for West Parcel 3.2A, which adjoins Phase 3.2B.

West Parcel 3.2A will deliver a total of 111 new homes, including 33 affordable homes and 78 private homes, further strengthening Vistry Group’s commitment to delivering much-needed homes and supporting the continued growth of the Cambourne community.

Construction is scheduled to begin in October 2025, with full build completion targeted for October 2027.2
