Local Telford youth football team scores new training kit thanks to Bovis Homes sponsorship

A Telford youth football team has received a boost for the new season after Bovis Homes sponsored its training kit.

Randlay Colts Whites U10’s, who play at Stirchley Recreation Centre in Telford, will wear the new training kit thanks to sponsorship from Bovis Homes, part of Vistry, from its nearby The Rambles development in Telford.

On receiving the new training kit, one Randlay Colts Whites U10’s player said: “It looks brilliant. Thank you to Bovis Homes for sponsoring us again this season.”

Joanne Bradbury, Marketing Director at Vistry Group, said: “We are delighted to support Randlay Colts Whites again and to help the team start the new season with new training kit. As a local housebuilder, it is important to us that we play an active role in the communities where we are building, and grassroots sport is a fantastic way of bringing young people, families and volunteers together.”

Randlay Colts is one of the largest junior football clubs in Telford, providing football for children aged four to 16.

Ryan Peart, coach for Randlay Colts Whites U10’s, said: “We are extremely grateful to Bovis Homes for continuing to support the team. Sponsorship like this makes a real difference to grassroots football and helps ensure the children have the kit they need to train together and feel proud to represent the club. On behalf of the players, parents and coaches, thank you for supporting Randlay Colts Whites U10’s.”

The club was established in 1986, achieved FA Charter Standard in 2014 and was named Shropshire FA Charter Standard Club of the Year in 2017.
