Vistry gets reserved matters approval for two developments in Cambridgeshire and Milton Keynes to deliver a total of 219 mixed-tenure new homes
Vistry, the UK’s leading provider of mixed-tenure homes, has secured two Reserved Matters approvals in quick succession for developments in Cambridgeshire and Milton Keynes. The approvals mark key milestones for its Northern Home Counties (NHC) region as it continues to deliver sustainable, long-term communities for residents across the region.
At Cambourne West, South Cambridgeshire, Reserved Matters approval has been granted for 156 new homes, which will be delivered as 100% affordable housing to create a sustainable and accessible new neighbourhood. The approval was achieved within just 13 weeks from submission and less than six months from acquisition, following three rounds of positive pre-application engagement with the local planning authority and partners.
At Salden Place (Parcel 2C), in Milton Keynes, Reserved Matters consent has also been secured for 63 private and affordable homes, representing Vistry’s first parcel within the wider strategic site. Consent was achieved in just 15 weeks from submission and within six months of acquisition, again, reflecting the benefits of early and collaborative engagement with the local planning authority and partners.
Together, these approvals mark significant progress in the delivery of both strategic sites, demonstrating Vistry’s expertise in delivering complex sites, and supporting its ongoing commitment to high-quality, sustainable homes across the region.
