Vistry hands over first affordable homes as Millwright Place show home opens in Maidstone
Vistry, one of the UK's leading providers of mixed-tenure homes, has handed over 16 new homes to L&G Affordable Homes at its Millwright Place development in Tovil, Kent, marking the first completed homes at the scheme where the new Linden Homes show home and sales centre has now opened.
Delivered in a mixture of two-, three- and four-bedroom homes, the 16 affordable homes are the first completed homes at Millwright Place and will be made available for shared ownership. Located on the former Tovil Quarry site off Farleigh Hill, Millwright Place is delivering 272 new homes, creating a vibrant mixed-tenure community less than a mile from Maidstone town centre. Half of the new homes at the development will be affordable, with 99 of these 136 affordable homes being delivered in partnership with L&G Affordable Homes.
Building on this progress at Millwright Place, the new Linden Homes show home and sales centre opened on 1st August with a family-friendly launch event. Visitors had the opportunity to tour the newly completed three-bedroom ‘The Wyatt’ show home, meet the sales team and learn more about the range of two, three and four-bedroom homes available at the development. The event also featured garden games and complimentary ice cream served throughout the day.
Millwright Place offers a range of thoughtfully designed homes ideally suited to first-time buyers, growing families and downsizers. Designed with modern living in mind, the homes incorporate a range of energy-efficient features including electric vehicle charging points for houses.
Situated approximately one mile from Maidstone town centre, Millwright Place provides convenient access to local shops, schools, leisure facilities and open green spaces.
